Define FRIENDSHIP : Complexity = ∞

Whenever someone asks me this question, I realize its magnitude only when I realize that I'm living in the age of technology, the age of the Internet.

The century old definition of friendship in the Oxford Dictionary states — the emotions or conduct of friends; the state of being friends.

More often than not, misunderstood to be — the conduct of people who can be used to each other or to one or the other.

It is in the times of rough weather, one realizes what friends who mean the age old definition of the word, will do to go the extra mile for you.

In this world, when someone says, you come alone and you are to go alone — friends define the parameters of how much you have enjoyed life.

I've always seen my father and his friends grow together — hand in hand. And wherever they were, even after being friends for over 50 years, relished every minute of the time they spent together over the last week.

Only if the world would turn a bit less materialistic and make sure that these tools and technology to connect really keep people connected.

P.S. this is yet another post looking for optimism like the last but then, I am optimistic that the world will change for the good if you consciously point and work to removing the bad.
